• "the object company"?
  What's this? I thought this site is about "three old coders"?
  Well, you're right and it is!
  
• Once upon a time there was a company called "The Object Company" initially looking for experienced developers to work with regardless where they are located. But as we are lazy a quick decision was made to abbreviate the name by the acronym "TOC" (not to confuse with "table of content"). Over time a core team of three people emerged and the virtual team searched for a new name fitting "TOC" in truth of spirit. And after years of investigation "Three Old Coders" saw the light of day. Believe it or not, simply by replacing "three" by "3" we finally ended up with "3oC". But hold on, the journey did not end here. To honour all the "(" and ")" characters we have typed in the last 15 years (must be millions of them) [*] we decided to place them in the middle of our newly created name.
  Thus the final mutation became "3()C".
